Feel like you’re in a bit of a fashion rut? We understand! Planning your wardrobe should be fun and exciting, not stressful, but sometimes even as we stare at all of our options, we think, “I have nothing to wear!” When this happens to us, we love to use fashion boards to inspire some new looks and fresh outfits. Here are some of our favorite ways to create fashion and style boards:
Polyvore Style Boards:
Polyvore is an online community for finding new items in fashion, as well as beauty and home décor. Think of it like a personalized online boutique! You can mix and match products from many different retailers like BooJee Beads to create your own fashion collections and sets. For example, you can pull BooJee Beads beaded lanyards or Harrington Lane designer handbags along with tops, shoes, dresses, or jeans from your favorite stores to create new looks or wardrobe collections. Then, you can customize and style your fashion board before sharing with your friends and followers on social media, including Facebook and Pinterest. This is a great way to experiment with some new looks!
Pinterest Fashion Boards:
Pinterest was created to help its users discover new ideas and pursue their interests, from cooking to home decorating to travel and everything in between. The tool is absolutely ideal for creating fashion boards. Search through thousands and thousands of pins—everything from complete outfits by designer brands to shoes, accessories, and handbags—or peruse your favorite websites and pin your favorite products or looks. Soon you will have curated your very own Pinterest fashion board!
DIY Inspiration Boards:
Combine fashion with crafting and you have a fun, relaxing activity! Sometimes we love getting back to the basics: trading our phone or laptop for a stack of fashion magazines and catalogues, a poster board, scissors, and some tape or glue. Spend time selecting and cutting out images that appeal to you—could be certain looks, colors, or products. Use your finished board to inspire some new looks for the summer season!
Did you create a fashion board incorporating a BooJee product? We would love to see it. Post the photo or share the link on our Facebook page or tag us in your post on Twitter and we might share your board with our audience or on our blog in the future!
